Priority Pass is a partner membership programme available to Platinum and Centurion Cardmembers. This offers access to over 450 airport lounges worldwide, regardless of the class of travel or airline flown. An application form can be found in the travel pack (sent approx 2 weeks after the Card has been received). Basic Platinum Cardmember visits are paid for by American Express. If the Platinum Supplementary Cardmember wishes to enroll, they can take advantage of a specially negotiated rate. The Centurion Basic Cardmember and one Supplementary Cardmember have access to this programme. Cardmembers must present their Priority Pass Card and not their American Express Card to gain access to the lounges.

How many times can I visit an airport lounge with my Priority Pass?
Your Priority Pass provides you with unlimited and unrestricted access.

Do I have to pay to get into a Priority Pass Lounge?
No. The Priority Pass Membership that American Express offers is unrestricted which means that the member is entitled to enter any Priority Pass lounge at no additional cost. However, your client will be charged a specially negotiated rate of €/$24 (per visit) if they wish for a non-member guest to join them.

Which countries participate in the International Airline Programme?
The International Airline Programme is available on departures from Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands and the UK. Benefits may vary in each of these countries.

How does the Cardmember make a reservation on this programme?
In order to make use of the International Airlines Programme and for details of benefits available, the Cardmember will need to call the Platinum Service number of the relevant country from which they wish to depart.

How can a Cardmember take advantage of discounted airfares and hotel bookings?
To request a free copy of the American Express Hotel Guides, which feature all properties and benefits available, and to obtain information on specially negotiated airfares, the Cardmember should call Customer Services.

When I call concierge, am I calling American Express?
Yes. Our concierge service is delivered by a team of highly experienced lifestyle professionals who work directly for American Express. The team is dedicated to providing our premium Cardmembers with round-the-clock personalised service to meet their every need.

What hotel and car rental companies can my client access?
Our Gold, Platinum and Centurion cardmembers are offered complimentary membership to Hertz #1 Gold Club as well as our Preferred Extras Hotel programme, which offers discounts of up to 60% in more than 15,000 hotels in 150 countries. In addition to this, Platinum and Centurion cardmembers are offered complimentary to Avis Preferred Select Programme and to some of the World’s top hotel programmes, including Hilton HHonours® Gold VIP Tier and Starwood Preferred Guest® Gold Level. Is my client automatically enrolled into all of the Partner Programmes?
No. If you client wishes to enroll in any of Partner Programmes they will need to complete the individual application forms enclosed in their Welcome Pack.
