  • What marketing materials are available from American Express?

    Readily available materials include Application Forms, Product and Benefit brochures, Powerpoint Presentations and Posters. Note that these are produced in English language although you are free to translate the content of these materials into local language, as long as it is reviewed by American Express prior to printing or publication.

  • Can we produce our own brochures explaining the American Express Card products in local language?

    Yes, we would encourage our bank partners to provide their own brochures or materials explaining the American Express International Currency Cards in local language. Unless otherwise agreed, this would be at the bank's expense and as above, any materials produced would need to be reviewed by American Express prior to printing or publication. Note that all translated material needs to include the wording: 'International Currency Cards are English language products'.

  • Are there any marketing materials available in languages other than English?

    We can provide translations of our Card features and benefits in various languages.

    Our Green Gold Platinum Product Comparison Sheet is available in Russian, Arabic, Spanish and Japanese and may be passed on to clients. These are available for you to download from Partner Web under the 'Brochures' tab.

    Our Centurion Summary of Benefits is also available in the same languages and can be downloaded from the 'Your Materials' tab. The reason this has been separated and placed in the 'Your Materials' section is because this document is only available for the bank to use and must not be shown to clients.

  • What marketing offers can we use when promoting the Cards to our customers?

    There are numerous offers which can be used in implementing a marketing campaign for American Express Cards. If you would like to discuss the opportunity to take advantage of any of these offers, please speak to your business development manager within International Currency Cards.

  • What tools are available for us to create our own marketing materials for American Express Cards?

    We can provide you with a toolkit which contains samples of our Card Images and American Express logo, which can be inserted into brochures, websites and other marketing communications. The toolkit would also contain sample text copy which explains the different product features and benefits, and sample letter copy which can be translated into local language and used for customer mailings, for example. For more specific requirements, please speak to your relationship or business development manager within International Currency Cards.

  • How can we be kept updated on regular offers from American Express?

    American Express runs marketing offers and campaigns for Cardmembers throughout the year. The bank can request a copy of our annual scheduled marketing mailings and offers any time during the year, and can request for their customers to be included in particular mailings as appropriate. Cardmembers can also check the most frequent offers on the American Express website. Please speak to your Relationship or Business Development Manager within International Currency Cards if you would like to receive more information.

    *There may be occasions where the International Currency Card Bank Services representative is dependent on services from other business groups within American Express in order to thoroughly investigate a customer dispute. Bank customers can be assured that the team will monitor service requests and make sure that every effort is made to persuade the Merchant, Bank or service utility to provide further information as quickly as possible.

    ‘My Account’ is the easy way for Cardmembers to manage an International Currency Card Account.
    It gives customers convenience and freedom to access Card information from any internet enabled computer in the world – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

    The benefits of ‘My Account’ to the Cardmember are:
    - Access their Account anytime, anywhere
    - Personalised and secure
    - Updated constantly to deliver the best possible service to Cardmembers
    - Keep track of spending
    - View past statements
    - Check whether payments have been received
    - Perform simple transactions such as Balance Transfers
    - Update their personal details

    To enrol, the Cardmember needs to:
    - Go to the My Account login page at
    www.americanexpress.com/dollaraccount (for International Dollar Card)
    or
    www.americanexpress.com/euroaccount (for International Euro Currency Card)
    - Choose a user ID password
    - Complete their Card Account details
    - Once registered, they can access their Card Account Summary and details at any time
